If your knees aren't how they use to be, or the ground just doesn’t do it for you - once you’ve camped on the KOZI Series King Single Stretcher from Darche, you’ll never look back.
At 900mm wide and over 2-metres long, this stretcher provides a generous base that raises you 420mm off the ground. The 25mm powder-coated steel frame sets up and packs away in seconds with its fast-folding mechanism, while no head or foot crossbars prevent poking, prodding, or bumping yourself during the night. The KOZI Series Stretcher features a unique soft-touch 190T brushed polyester Pillow Pocket that zips off for easy cleaning, and corner elastics to secure your mattress in place. Base feet have been designed to minimise the impact on your tent floor, while side pocket and gear loft allow for storage.
Don’t let creaky joints stop you from sleeping out under the stars - with Darche’s KOZI Series King Single Stretcher, you can keep calm and camp on.

Can you put a Zempire 10cm self inflating mattress with the head end installed underneath the included pillow case?

G'day Stuart,
You can't I'm sorry. The Pillow slip is attached via a webbing hook, which is at a fix length and cannot be extended. This is to ensure the pillow cant slip around the stretcher bed and means it's too short to go over a mattress.

I now have the Darche KOZI King Single and find I can fit a 10 CM self inflating mattress quite easily under the pillow head end!!

Thanks for that feedback Stuart. Is this with a pillow in the pillow slip? And how compressed is the mattress under the pillow section? I know it didn't work when we tried it originally, so I'm wondering if theres been a slight design change. Would be great if you wanted to post a product review & include some photos.

Fit in RV41 answer
Hi guys, would this stretcher fit in the RV4, front to back? Im sure it would be touching the slanting roof at the back but would it be just up against it and still work or would it be pushing up against the back wall too much for it to work? Thanks!
Simon - Perth, WA(2 years ago)
G'day Simon,
In the RV series, you lose about 40cm of floor space at stretcher height, due to the taper of the rear wall. The RV 4 is 240cm from front to back, which means you'll need a stretcher 200cm or shorter to fit the way you'd like it too. Unfortunately, the Kozi stretcher is too long. If your stretcher is touching your tent wall it will be a wicking point for rain, and a pooling point for condensation. Hope that explanation helps abit!

Swag Compatibility 1 answer
Can this stretcher have a swag mounted on top?
Ropes - Sydney, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day,
Yes, you can use a swag on top of the stretcher, however, it will need to be a free standing swag option and there is no anchor point on the stretcher itself. You can still peg out guy ropes, but they'll need to extend down to the ground. The stretcher is 90cm wide, so is best suited to single or 900 sized swags.
