Great sleeping bag

My daughter loves her sleeping bag and has now used it many times. I really like the zip which is designed to not get caught in the material. This sleeping bag is for summer/spring nights, as it's not warm enough for the cold. Although I'm sure a fleece lining used separately in the bag would make it a lot warmer.
I have been storing the sleeping bag in a pillow case, not in the original bag. This keeps it fresher and is so much easier than trying to squeeze into it's original bag.

Love this Kids Sleeping Bag

I truly appreciated the prompt delivery of this sleeping bag just before Christmas as it was a present for my 4.1/2 year old Grandaughter. She loved the bright pink interior and the illuminated bugs. It was just perfect. Now all we need to do is talk her parents into coming away camping again.

Ridiculously small bag

Thanks Snowys for prompt delivery of this sleeping bag only a couple of weeks prior to Christmas. The bag has not yet been used to test it's warmth and durability.. Miss three loves the bugs on the front though. One big big gripe - Why do they need to make sleeping bag covers so so so tight. It's ridiculous and unusable. My husband and I both struggled getting the bag out and getting it back in was a huge battle. There is no way a child would be able to pack it away on their own.

G'day Jane, thanks for leaving some feedback about your new sleeping bag. Small sleeping bag covers can be so frustrating - if only they could just make them a little bigger! Just a tip for next time - don't worry about folding or rolling the bag up, stuffing the bag back into the cover is easier and more effective. I hope this helps, Laine.

Using it in autumn1 answer

Can we use it cold night (11 C to 13 C Temperature), is it suitable for that and can I use it for my 3 year old?

- 2140(9 months ago)

G’day Sathish,

The Fyrefly Illumi-Bug has a comfort rating of 7 °C degrees, and in general we say to add 5 degrees to the comfort rating of most bags so it should be just right - but it is going to depend on the individual child.

If your child is a cold sleeper I would recommend going for an Explore Planet Earth Buckley Sleeping Bag as it’s got a comfort rating of 0 °C so it will provide some extra warmth and be a little more versatile for the winter months.

The length is going to be quite long for a 3-year-old, but all of our children’s bags are around the 150-160cm mark so they’ll be able to grow into it.

Every person is different so it is hard to say what will be the best option, but I hope that gave you some idea of what will be suitable.

Can it be converted to 'double bed'?1 answer

Does this model have the option to be converted to a double bed with another same model bag (different color)?

- Yallambie(12 months ago)

Hi Turo, you can open these sleeping bags fully and zip two together (either colour) to make a small double sleeping bag :)
