If you’re looking for a bigger shelter that’ll still protect you from the sun and rain, then the OZtrail Deluxe Mega Gazebo will tick all those boxes. Offering 50% more room than the Deluxe Gazebo, you can afford to invite a few more pals to your party, or add an extra table of wares to your market stall display.
Tested and certified by Australian engineers so you know that this shelter is solidly constructed, this gazebo is also fast and easy to set up with a three-position push-button height adjustment. The heavy-duty legs and struts provide the structure with strength as well as assisting with shedding water from the top of your shelter. The canopy is silver coated and UVtex treated to protect the canopy from the sun’s rays while also doubling as a waterproof barrier.
The canopy seams are heat taped to protect against leaks and the pre-attached guy ropes will help keep your shelter steady in the wind. If you’ve got an event coming up – a BBQ, sports day, picnic, function or fundraiser, then the Deluxe Mega Gazebo from OZtrail will provide you with all the shelter you’ll need.
Hi there. Does this 4.5m canopy come with the Hydro flow anti-ponding system that the 3m Oztrail deluxe comes with?
G'day Giselle,
At this stage Oztrail hasn't released the 4.5m Deluxe Gazebo with the anti-ponding hydroflow system, we're not to sure if they plan to in the future, however at this stage they've not released one to match the 3m version.
Can you slide the canopy off/on without collapsing in the frame to allow the frame to stay in situ
G'day Eddy,
Yes you can remove the canopy while the frame stays erected, however you might find it pretty tricky to do so with the tension on the fabric and the peak height of 3.35m. We'd suggest collapsing the frame a little, or even just lowering the legs to aid in removing the canopy.
Can I get this with a white canopy?
G'day Eddy,
The Oztrail Deluxe Commercial 4.5 Gazebo comes with a white canopy. Click here to visit the product page.
How does it hold in decent wind? Looking to upgrade our 3x3 and am concerned about the legs being 4.5m apart. Cheers
G'day David,
Your best bet would be to go with the Oztrail Deluxe 6.0 Gazebo. Whilst that extra bit bigger, it has the central supporting legs which are essential in inclement weather and winds. In winds, your gazebo legs must be pegged into the ground, and the guy ropes pegged out. Adding some Heavy Duty Trace Springs would also be beneficial!
Does the top of the wall attach with Velcro?
G'day John,
There are some small hooks on the top of the walls that hook into the top corners of the frame, and there are some velcro patches on the wall and gazebo canopy to help secure it.
G’day, I see you can buy individual walls for this gazebo but can you get a fully enclosed mesh room? Just in Insite of how the walls ‘seal’ along the roof and sides..
G'day Bob,
The only mesh walls available for the Deluxe 4.5 Gazebos are the individual side panels. Oztrail does make a full sealed mesh screen room for the Gazebos but it's designed to fit the Deluxe 3.0 Gazebo so won't quite work with the Deluxe 4.5 Gazebo.
Please explain the base pod kit. Our concern is, how stable the gazebo will be left up for months at a time. We wish to use it for our outdoor setting and chairs but we could not be taking it down every couple of weeks. Pls advise.
G'day Michael,
Thanks for getting in touch, the Gazebo Base Pod Kits are designed to fit around the legs of the Gazebo and be filled with sand or water to help secure them down on hard services. I will let you know that the Deluxe 4.5 Gazebos are designed to be a temporary structure and not left up long term, so it's hard to say how long the Gazebo itself or Base Pod kits will last if used in this way.
Is there a 4.5m and a 3m solid wall that are compatible with this gazebo
G'day Gretta,
We do stock walls for the Oztrail Deluxe 4./5 Gazebo. The Oztrail 4.5m Mega Gazebo Walls suit the long sides and then the Oztrail 3m Solid Walls suit the short sides.
Does the bag have wheels
G'day Gretta,
They sure do! The bags for the Oztrail Deluxe gazebos in any size have wheels to save you carrying them around!
I'm interested in using one on the side of a tennis court as a rain/ sun shelter. Also do you have a version that can have a logo printed?
G'day Ash,
The Oztrail Deluxe 4.5 Gazeboes are 100% waterproof, so you won't have any issues with keeping people dry under them on a rainy day. As for one that you can print on, I'd suggest the Oztrail Deluxe Commercial 4.5 Gazebo for that!
??
G'day Shirley,
The Oztrail Deluxe 4.5 Gazebo is a great gazebo and can be set up in a matter of minutes. Whilst it's really easy to set up, I wouldn't classify this as a "pop up" gazebo as it doesn't all pop together in 30 or fewer seconds.
Do you also supply the side walls for the 4.5mt sides , I am looking at buying one that I can completely enclose .
G'day Lucas,Â
We have both the Mesh and Solid wall Kits in the 4.5m size available in store, but for some reason we haven't got around to putting those online. Now that you've brought this to our attention, we will try and get them up as soon as possible.
If you need them ASAP, you can give us a call on 1300 914 007 and the customer support team should be able to put an order through for you on the phone.Â
How hard is it to put together. How do you ground it.
G'day Toni,Â
Setting up the Deluxe Mega Gazebo is fairly simple, all you have to do is spread the frame out (not fully), then drape the canopy over it before fully extending it, and then extend the gazebo legs.Â
As for keeping everything sturdy, you can just secure it down with guy ropes, or you can use a sand bag kit or base pod kit if you're on hard ground such as bitumen.Â
