I have a Kulkyne Kampers homestead swag ... which i love. The only thing is the base is very heavy and somewhat difficult to setup ... first world problem. Would the XL100 ultra work with this swag (225cm x100cm)

G'day Andrew,
I can't see any reason why you couldn't use the swag with this Darche stretcher - the only consideration would be that the Darche stretcher is almost 25kg, and it's unlikely to be lighter that the Kulkyne frame component as they're both made from steel. They don't have any weight specifications on their website which makes it hard to know for sure. It will 100% make setup easier, but I'm not sure you'll be saving much weight.

Darche XL 100 Ultra Stretcher1 answer
I have a Dune 4WD double swag (130cm wide). Is this stretcher simply too small, or would it still work? Alternatively, can you recommend another product?
Matt - Woori Yallock, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Matt,
There's no other stretcher that would be compatible I'm sorry. The widest single stretchers we have are around that 10ocm mark. You could still use it with your swag, but you'd have a 15cm overhang on either side. There is the option of a double stretcher at around 144cm wide, but that does have a solid bar running down the center. Generally, this isn't really compatible if the swag is being used by 1 person, as you'll have to sleep on one side of the bar for comfort.

Compatibility of Darche XL 100 ultra stretcher1 answer
Hi there, Probably an old question but before I place an order for the Darche air 1100 swag and Darche XL 100 ultra stretcher; while assume they are compatible, just want to make sure; so while obe is 1000 wide and the other 1100 wide, do they complement each other?
Rod - Wooli, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Rod,
Yep, absolutely. The Darche XL stretcher is designed to be used with either the 900 or 1100 wide swags - its a very common combination for campers. Hope that helps!

900 wide swag1 answer
I have a Darche Dusk to Dawn 900 swag. Will this stretcher be ok for it? Wondering whether it’s best for the stretcher to be narrower than the swag so the poles overhang and not dig in to the stretcher.
Dave - Adelaide, SA(1 year ago)
G'day Dave,
The Darche XL 100 is the perfect stretcher for 900 & 1100 wide swags - Darche have designed this with a swag and stretcher combo in mind. It's a fairly popular option these days!

Darche xl stretcher1 answer
So I’m guessing the onky diff btwn the xl and the ultra is the 15mm padding and if thats the case is it worth the extra $40 - what do you think ? Cant try things out when you buy on line 🤷ðŸ¼â™€ï¸

G'day Anthony,
You've hit the nail on the head there, the only difference is the 15mm padding. If you're someone who sleeps directly on the stretcher without a mattress/swag, then the padding will help add some comfort and insulation. If you're sleeping on a mattress/swag on top of the stretcher, then you probably won't need this model.
