It’s a stool, no... it’s a table, or maybe a footrest… actually the Oztent Sidekick is all of those.

An ultimately handy and functional item for your camp set-up, the Sidekick is a lightweight stool or footrest ideal for fishermen and campers. It features a fold away flat surface that enables the stool to convert from stool to side table that doubles as a stand for camp fridges and iceboxes.

Rated to 110kg and equipped with an organiser panel and drink holder, the Oztent Sidekick folds flat to a miniscule 6cm making it easy to pack for any outdoor adventure.

  • Seat, footrest and table in one
  • Fold away flat surface
  • Can be used as fridge stand
  • Attached organiser panel

Needs more stars

These are the perfect companion to any camping seats you might already have. We used them as foot rests when we weren't using them as a mini table for a hot breakfast and coffee.

Great multiuse stool

Great as a seat, footrest, table. 110kg capacity so almost anyone can sit on it. Seems well made and will last. Great service from snowys too.

Top product, very handy

If it could be improved I would widen the side big pocket to fit a iPad with cover plus fit a mesh spreader brace, instead of the single strap, as this then is an ideal spot to store footwear, away from spiders etc.

First of all a very quick delivery.
Used 2 off these on our last camping trip and they performed real well, very sturdy and an excellent footrest after a long day hiking.

much easier to carry and has everything I need to accommodate drinks etc with quick access side pouches.

Fridge / Icebox Stand?1 answer

Hi, How exactly would you support a Fridge or Icebox (eg 45-60L) on this stool, and which way would you face it? Looks a bit suss to me. Cheers, John.

Hi John, You'd have to place two of these side-by-side in order for it to work, with the little handle at the back of the fridge and the fridge itself going across both stools width ways. You'd also have to have the flat surface flap flipped onto the seat in order for it to be stable enough to hold it. It's not the most cost effective option, but if you already had two of these to use as foot stools you could also use them for that purpose. I'd recommend the Outdoor Connection Aluminium Footstool instead, which you can purchase on our website, or if you're local we have another option which is only available in store. It's called the Outdoor Connection fridge stand. Always better to get the right tool for the job rather than something that could potentially do several jobs, but not as well.
