The Droptail chair is your classic standard fold up chair that will see you from weekends away from the city to a backyard BBQ.There are no fancy bells and whistles – just a sturdy and supportive chair that’s good for many different lifestyles and activities.
If slouchy soft chairs don’t give you the support you need, then the Droptail will be right up your street as the seat and backrest are taught enough to keep your back comfortable. The Droptail will fold down in an easy to carry package so it will slide easily into the back of your car and is a breeze to store away when not in use.
This chair is sturdy, practical, and doesn’t have anything that you don’t need - so it's perfect for the no-fuss camper.

How much strength required2 answers
Is much strength required with the folding and unfolding of this chair? Am asking, as I have arthritis in my hands and need something that is light and safe (no catching of fingers in parts).

G'day Emmy,Â
If that's the case then I would say that a director's style chair like the Droptail isn't going to be a good model for you, as it does take some force to set up from trying it myself in store. All of the director's style chairs are going to require some force, so you may be best considering a quad fold design.Â
A model that's around the same price and weight, that opens very easily (you just hold opposite ends, pull and it will unfold) is the Goanna Chair from Oztent - so that's one you might want to check out.Â

Thanks for the suggestion. Must admit I do like the compact size of this chair when folded which is why I was considering it. When having to fit all the gear for a camping trip into a car every bit of space is valuable.
