The Calibre 1100 Swag from Darche is a tough and roomy swag for hunters, fishermen and general campers alike. The canvas upper combined with its 3-hoop design and heavy-duty PVC base makes for a sturdy swag ready for any adventure in any climate.
The half-length zippered storm cover provides a great balance between weather protection and ventilation and when zipped open reveals the fine insect mesh for air flow on warm nights. The end panel features a zip down wall and insect mesh for more ventilation and the bucket floor ensures you stay dry, even if you end up camping in the mud.
The Calibre comes with a covered 50mm high-density mattress and enough room for a man and his dog. Attached compression straps make for easy pack up and mean you won't be flailing around trying to find where you left them the night before.

Calibre vs AWOL2 answers
Hi, I'm just wondering if you have any advice over whether to go for a Darche calibre or AWOL? Where are the points of difference? They seem like similar swags, and at the same price. Thanks, Scott

G'day Scott,
There's not a huge difference between the two. Side by side they both have all the same specs in terms of dimensions and fabric but the standout is that the AWOL opens all the up. The Calibre unzips only half way to the centre bar which depending on your use and weather conditions, could end up being a bit of a heat trap. Other than that, they are the same so it really just comes down to your personal preference mate :) Cheers!

Thanks Alexandra! That's actually really helpful for me as I will be going to some places with some warm nights! Cheers, Scott
