Rigorously tested to ensure that it’ll survive the rough and tumble camping lifestyle, the Coleman Queen Double High Quickbed Airbed with 240V Pump is the ultimate airbed in Coleman’s range.
Made from heavy-duty PVC for strength and a rayon flock top for warmth and to keep bedding in place, this airbed provides you with both durability and comfort – so you get the best of both worlds. The double height creates a mattress-like-experience and will fit the queen size sheets you already have. The PVC is puncture-resistant, so you can get it out for your guests, or take it with you on your next camping trip with confidence.
Set up is easy, as the internal 240V pump quickly inflates the bed with the touch of a switch or you can inflate it by hand. Don’t make your houseguests sleep on your dodgy futon, the Coleman Quickbed is the way to go for overnight visitors, or for yourself on your outdoor adventures.
What canvas carry bag would be the best fit for this when deflated?
G'day Jonno,
A nice basic solution is the Oztrail Canvas Duffle Bag, the Medium would be a good choice without having too much excess bag left over.
Hope that helps.
Hi just wondering does this come with a repair kit?
G'day Emma,
Yep, it should come with its own puncture repair kit which includes glue and patches.
Hope that helps.
Hi, is the power cord removable from the mattress? Or is there somewhere it can be stored to ensure that it doesn't end up under the mattress while camping and potentially causing a puncture.
G'day Steph,
The cable is not removable, nor is there a storage compartment. If not heard of it ending up under a mattress, when you're setting up the bed just make sure to move it out the way or keep it out from under the mattress before you start using it.
You could always use a cable or twist tie to bunch it up if you are having issues.
I'm wondering if the double height would fit in the Coleman Instant Up 8P Darkroom tent? Does it provide sufficient room to sit or sleep in the tent or it would be a bit squeezed? Thanks!
G'day Eric,
Yes, it does fit in the 8P Darkroom tent. If using the room divider there won't be much space left over at all, but if you remove the diver & have the whole tent open you'll have loads of space.
Hope that helps.
If I dont need the built in pump - would I be better off with the all terrain airbed? Is the all terrain of equal or higher quality? (this built in pump version seems to have better reviews)
G'day Nathan,
The All Terrain Mattress is made from a material that is more puncture resistant than the standard airbed models, so in theory, it should be a better option for you if you don't need the built-in pump. Overall there are varying reviews regarding punctures on most of our airbeds, as unfortunately there are lots of pesky things in the natural world that are very good at puncturing airbeds.
Does it come in other sizes? Or just queen?
G'day Bridget,
The Coleman Double-High Quickbed and Pump only comes in the Queen size,
Looking at upgrading from a RTT...
G'day Brock,
The Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump will just fit in the RV3, however it will take up the whole space, and will touch on the rear slope of the tent a little. We'd recommend looking at a single height mattress in this tent.
Thanks for your response, what air mattress would you recommend? I’m after something heavy duty as it will be getting used Most weekends... thanks
G'day Brock,
We'd probably suggest looking at a self-inflating mat if you're planning to camp every weekend. If you've got your heart set on an airbed then the Coleman All Terrain Queen or the Aerobed Active Queen.
is the power cord removable after pumping up the airbed? rather than having it sitting out in the tent as a bit of a hazard.
G'day Chris,
The cord on the Queen Double-High Quickbed cord isn't removable so we'd suggest orienting the bed so you don't have to walk past that end of the bed in the night.
What minimum size wattage inverter required to inflate and deflate the mattress?
G'day Chris,
The Coleman Queen Double High Quickbed & Pump does have a secondary inflation point that you will be able to use with your existing 12V pump plugged into your car, or a manual pump, so you dont necessarily need an inverter to inflate this mattress.
If you opt to go with an inverter to use the built in pump, you'll need one that covers 144w. Dont forget that the realistic output of any inverter is around 80% of advertised amount, so you'll be needing one that covers 180w minimum.
Just in case, we have to go to an unpowered site.
G'day Roy,
Yes, you can use a Coleman Quickpump 12V with the Queen Double-High Quickbed if you're on an unpowered site.
Hey guys we are going to an unpowered site at Easter... how would we pump this up? What if my car only has a USB port? Newbie and I need an amazing bed to sleep on!
G'day Cate,
The Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump has a built-in 240v pump so if you're on an unpowered site you'll need to grab a separate rechargeable
as above
G'day Kathryn,
The Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump has a built-in 240V pump that will allow you inflate the bed if you've got a power source. The Coleman All Terrain Queen Dbl High Airbed doesn't have a built-in pump so you'll need to purchase one separately. The
How much does this bed weigh?
G'day Deb,
The Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump weighs 8.4kg.
Hi, Following the previous Q&A about using the Engel Canverter you recommended for this bed to go from 12v to 240v for the pump. This converter only goes up to 100w yet the pump is 144w. Am I missing something here, or I shouldn’t get this converter you recommended for this bed? Thanks.
G'day Stuart,
I think you're spot on there, the
Hey I've not been a fan of the air mattresses I've used in the past as I find when one person moves around even slightly the whole thing bounces. Do you know if this bed helps prevent that at all? Thanks
G'day Laura,
I haven't personally used one of the Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbeds so I'm probably not the best person to answer but it is our most popular air-bed and it does get consistently great reviews online. Certainly, one thing people seem to say is that it is very stable and feels less like a 'waterbed' than cheaper airbeds. So whilst it'll never be quite as comfy as your bed at home, if you read through the reviews I think you'll find most people are very happy with the comfort and performance.
I don’t want to spend more money on another device to inflate that you suggested in other answers, as I already have a basic car adapter pump . Will that work? ..don’t camp that often but when I do I’ve hated every bed... hoping this will solve that 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸
G'day Vanessa,
The Coleman Queen Double High Quickbed & Pump does have a secondary inflation point that you will be able to use with your existing 12V pump plugged into your car, so you should be fine. Based on reviews the majority of people are really happy with this bed so I think you will be as well!
How much weight van this bed support. Thank ypu
G'day Linda,
Coleman doesn't actually give this airbed a weight rating, but we've written a blog on exactly this subject so hopefully, this sheds some light on our thoughts. Have a read through it by clicking here and get back to us if you have any more questions.
Will this double high quickbed fit in the coleman northstar 10p instant up tent ? If not could you recommend a queen airbed which will fit the northstar 10p tent please?
G'day Ronny,
Hi There Looking at purchasing a instant pop up 3p tent. Width and Length sound ok however how high is it once inflated
G'day Amanda,
The Coleman Queen Double High Quickbed is 46cm high. Let us know which tent you're looking at buying and we can let you know if we think it'll be a good fit.
Would this fit OK?
G'day Varun,
The Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump will fit inside the Coleman Instant Up 4P tent and leave you a bit of space on the ground for your gear.
Hi, do these come in 12v ? Would like one of these or similar quality matress for camping but in 12v.
G'day Shane,
Unfortunately, there's not an airbed like the Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump, that comes with a built-in pump that works on 12V. You've got a couple of options. The first would be to look at the Engel Power Inverter, which will allow you to run the pump using 12V or look at getting a separate 12V pump that you can use when there's no access to mains power.
Good day, Will this Coleman Queen Double Quickbed fit into one of the two Coleman Instant Up 10P Gold rooms? Thanks
G'day Kobus,
Whilst it will take up a good majority of the room, you shouldn't have too many worries at all using the Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed inside your Coleman Instant Up 10P Gold Tent.
Hi does this connect to a standard 240 volt power point outlet?
G'day Reg,
The Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump comes with a standard 240v outlet that plugs into your everyday powerpoint, yes.
G'day Denise,
I've just looked into this for you, and you only need to connect the pump when inflating and deflating the Coleman Queen Double High Quickbed.
If we had to take a guess as to how long it will take, we'd say a couple of minutes for both inflation and deflation, Denise.
Does this come in a double matress size?
G'day Helen,
The Coleman Double-High Quickbed & Pump only comes in a queen size, I'm sorry to say.
sandrewj@bigpond.net.au
G'day Andrew,
The wattage of the internal pump on the Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump is 144W, so you should have no issues using your generator.
Hi, my girlfriend and I are very...very inexperienced campers. We are going to a festival over the weekend and just wondering how we would pump it up? Can it plug into the cigarette lighter? Thanks!!
G'day Jeremy,
The Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump operates on a 240v connection only. There are a few ways we can get around this thought. You can use another Coleman pump when you're out and about or you can grab one of these Engel Power Inverters and this will allow you to plug power points into your car!
Im wondering if this airbed has the same support system as the supreme support elite pillowtop airbed??
G'day Dazz,
I've just had a look at the Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed and Pump on our shop floor and from what I can gather, they do have a very similar support system to the Coleman Elite Pillowtop Airbed.
We bought a Coleman 10P Instant Up Tent and a Zempire Super 2 Way Pump. If we were camping at an unpowered site, will we be able to pump this up using the 12V DC pump from the car? Regards, Joseph
G'day Joseph,
The Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed and Pump does have a second valve that you can use to inflate the bed using your 12v pump.
Seems counter-intuitive given the excellent 240v built-in cord, but I like to camp at unpowered sites and wondered if this type of pump would work with the valve in this bed? Or will I need a manual pump? Thanks so much!
G'day Stacey,
The Coleman Quickpump Rechargeable 12V 240V Air Pump should work no worries. Just ensure your batteries are charged as it's going to need to pump a fair bit of air.
Hi Guys- just wondering if this air bed will fit into the bedrooms of the Coleman CV9 tent?
G'day Jo,
You'll have no issue fitting the Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed into the bedrooms of the Coleman Chalet CV9.
what's more comfortable? what would be warmer? what has a softer top? what's better fabric? are the warren ties the same?
G'day Emma,
These air mattresses are really hard to split in regards to what you've asked. They're both quite comfortable (for an air mattress), come with the same warranty duration and both have a flocked top to them. Furthermore, the height of both mattresses will provide more than suitable insulation.
The main difference is that the Double High Quickbed obviously gives you more height making it a bit easier to get in and out of bed, but the Aerobed had a detachable battery powered pump making it a bit easier to inflate.
Hi there, does this bed come with its own carry bag/case?
G'day Ray,
The Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed & Pump does come with a polyester bag. However, I must admit, it's not very durable to be used on a regular basis but good enough if using occasionally and for storing it while not in use.
Hi if I proceed with purchasing a Coleman inflatable bed, and have issues whilst it is still under warranty, who pays what to send it to Coleman?
G'day Judy,
Depending on the issue we may not even need to get it back if you were having trouble with it. If it's an obvious fault we can see in a picture we'd generally just send a replacement out to you. We're about to open a store up your way so it could always be dropped in there if needed.
Looking for a double-high king size matrass if available
G'day Clint,
I've just looked into this, and I'm afraid that Queen is the largest size available in the Coleman airbed line, and we don't have any other king sized mats or airbeds in our range either.
Hi I bought a similar Intex self inflating air bed and it lasted me 6 months with only 2 uses before a small annoying leak showed up and it became useless. Intex were not in interested in helping me at all so into the bin it went after spending $160. How would have Coleman' after sales service performed in the same scenario as a airbed is not used on a daily basis but on occasions as mine was.
G'day Pina,
Sorry to hear about your experience. You'll be happy to know that Coleman give excellent after sales service and each item is assessed on an individual basis as well as in relation to warranty period. (warranties cover any manufacturing/material defect or fault)
I am confident they would have found a more suitable solution for you.
Is there anyway of charging it using the car socket, or will I need a powerpoint or portable pump? Just thinking for when it is used camping!
G'day Zac,
This airbed has a valve that is compatible with any Coleman hand, foot or electric pump so you could utilise a 12V rechargeable pump if you prefer to plug into the car socket or get some exercise using a manual pump.
Would it be ok to pump this bed up at campsites with power outlet?
Hi Kat,
You can pump up this mattress from any 240v power point. One thing to keep in mind though - if you're pumping this mattress outside of your tent and then putting it in, make sure your tent door is big enough!
Some tents that are big enough to fit an airbed, don't have a doorway that's big enough to put the inflated airbeds through. In that case, you may need to use an extension cord so that you can inflate your airbed inside the tent.
Hi guys - just wondering if the queen or double is the best fit for an OzTent RV5
G'day Ralph,
The Sleeping area of the RV5 is 260cm x 260cm so it will definitely fit the Queen Double-High with 240 Pump Quickbed Airbed, and most of our double size airbeds as long as they are under those dimensions.Â
It really depends on how much floor space you want to have inside the tent - if you'd like more room a double size would be best, but if that's not a concern then the queen would suit as well.Â
Hi Darren, The cord is 2 metres long from the pump to the plug. Hope that helps!
i have a space issue in my car:)
How does the fitted sheet bottom fit ( elastic)
i have a 300w inverter and hoping this will be adequate to pump this up at campsite.Reading the Q&A's i guess i could use my 12v coleman pump also? Thankyou
How many kg can the bed support inflated?
How long does the power charger last if it works on its own? Will I need a foot pump if we take it to a campsite without power?
