i can’t seem to decide between buying this stove and the companion high output twin stove. i really like the build quality of this one but worry that the burner power won’t be enough as it’s much lower than the high output model. i’m going to be cooking mainly bbq food (steak,snags,veggies) on cast iron boiling water (cold windy vhc conditions) i use a lc27 swap and go 3.7kg bottle. based on my concerns, do you think this will be sufficient? or should i opt for the high output adapted to lc27. cheers!

G'day Sam,

Considering you will want to use this for boiling water and BBQ food I would recommend the higher output stoves. It would take longer to do the same thing on the Low-Pressure stove whereas the High Output would would do this a bit quicker. The Companion 2 Burner High Output Stove or the Companion Proheat 2 Burner High-Pressure Stove (with this hose) will connect to the LCC27 gas bottle.

This comes with a 3/8 SAE to LCC27 hose and is 1200mm long, the maximum hose length for this stove is 2000mm.

We recommend Companion branded hoses, the Bayonet to 3/8 SAE hoses (product code HSB1200BN or HSB2000BN) are sold separately.

The Campfire 2 Burner Gas Cooker Plate is a good fit.
I has the flat hotplate on one side, and the ridged grill on the other, which gives you a few options!
