Double the height for extra comfort, and to make getting up easier - the All Terrain Queen Double High air bed is a solid choice for camping or indoor use.
The bonded puncture resistant surface is durable and will support more weight, so you can get it out for your guests, or take it with you to your next camping trip with confidence. This air bed is also lighter, and more stretch and puncture resistant than standard Coleman airbeds of the same size so it will hold up over time.
The coil construction provides lots of support for superior comfort, and storing this mat is a breeze as it comes with an in-built fold and roll system for easy packing. Leaks won’t be on your radar, as this bed is factory tested to be leak free and has a dual lock valve to prevent air escaping.
The best feature though is that you can just throw your standard sheets on the All Terrain to keep it nice and clean. The Coleman All Terrain is the easy choice for weekends away, or to use as bedding for your houseguests.
So my predicament is that im a 300 kilogram guy with a 45 kilogram tumor on my right thigh, ive always loved camping but havnt been since i was 18 and im 27 now. Ideally i need to save up and buy a good trailer top camper for me since getting off the floor is both a hardship and an anxiety i have with camping due to my size. I bought this praying it would both hold my weight with out exploding and without losing air overnight. Me and 4 friend's went 4wding in the blue mountains area at newnes nature reserve and camped at Snow gum flora reserve, aint no joke there pretty rough but beautiful. I bought the hurricane pump but a friend offered me a rechargeable pump and it took 3 minutes there bouts to inflate. I used a 10 mill or less yoga mat under it because of rough rocks and sticks about i wanted a tad extra protection. I slept on this from 11 pm till 8.30 am on a 8° degree night in november so not to cold. (Was told temperature can effect air loss in mattresses over night so just referencing this for winter campers) Woke up and i couldn't even say it had lost any air at all if it had it would be less than 4% for that one night. Was comfortable and firm, i tossed and turned on it a little as im a restless sleeping before my brain turns off but never felt like the sides would dip to a point i would be chucking rolley polleys off of it onto the floor. Woke up feeling refreshed and delighted and was able to put myself in a positon with one knee on and the other in a standing position and stood up off the matress without a hitch or my knee sinking through to a point where i had not enough room to push off the ground to a half crouch kinda deal to a standing move. Thoroughly impressed and appreciative of snowys. Cheers guys.
Great write-up Michael! Thanks for sharing. Laine :)
Bought this as my previous mattress had air leaks and I had to wake up in the middle of the night to pump it again. Tested at home for 1 night and its solid. Was tossing up between this or the double high with built in pump but decided to go with this as I will be mainly using it camping outdoors and for the occasional guest sleeping over at home. Very comfortable and when me or the missus got off the bed the other didn't feel a thing.
Hi Snowys, I got 2 questions about this mattress. 1. this doesn't have a built in pump correct? Can it be pumped by other branded air pumps (such as my kmart one) and 2. I think it already has it in the description, but does it comes with a carry case? Thanks guys!
You're right, it doesn't come with a pump. Any pump can be used as long as it fits the valve.
It also doesn't come with a carry bag as such, rather included is a protective cover that wraps around the mattress when rolled up.
