The naturally antimicrobial Metallocene (mPE) offers outstanding durability and delivers BPA, PVC and taste-free water through a high flow bite valve that is kept close at hand with a magnetic retainer.
This is a really good bladder, I like the easy fill top, a good product from black wolf
Purchased this for my daughters daypack . Have a 3l myself and have been impressed with its longevity. Previous purchases of other brands have not lasted the distance.
A well constructed bladder , easy to use mouth piece, no plastic taste . Hardy.
For the price I paid for this product I was very happy! Although slighly heavier than some other hydration bladders, if you're not a super hard-core hiker the extra few 100grams you could save you probably won't care about for the price! Worked really well, no problems at all.
This is a well made and convenient to use product. I wasn't sure about the spine, but it prevents the bladder collapsing in the sleeve, and makes it much easier to handle.
Went on a 2 day hike worked well no dramas far better then carrying water bottles.
I ordered my hydration bladder at lunch time and it arrive on my doorstep less than 24 hours later. I have just done a 4 day hike and it was so much better than taking water bottles and fitted perfectly into my Black Wolf Backpack.
This high quality hydration bladder arrived quicker than expected and has seen multiple uses without the slightest leak or problem so far.
This is far superior to anything like this on the market. Snowys has the best delivery I, personally, have ever experienced. This is the best thing for hiking, it was with me 24\7.
My first hydration thingo. I like that the hose connection faces upwards - not all seem to which just looks downright risky...
The magnetic clip is great. Wasn't a great incentive to purchase but I found it really handy. Others on the track were impressed and told tales of their hoses swinging about unhelpfully. It's a good magnet so you just wave the end in the general direction of the clip and - click!
Easy to fill and dry.
The only thing I think might be inconvenient at times is if you want to use a smaller bag - the black handle is solid plastic so there's no way to fold or compact it - it is always that tall, although obviously you can fill it less.
My son uses this for sport and he loves it. Doesn't leak and easy to fill. Excellent customer service and prices from Snowys.
There is a bladder port in the pack but my concern is the spine and also as I use the pack when skiing is the hose rated at all against low temps
Without having one here to try it on, I'm pretty confident that you'll be able to fit a 2 Litre Black Wolf Tank Hydration Bladder into your Wolffe Pack Summit backpack. As for the rating in the snow, they're not insulated like the Camelbak hoses are but in most Australian snow conditions, it wouldn't get cold enough during the day for it to be a worry for you.
I want to use this in a deuter rucksack (50 10 aircontact) - do I insert it so the black plastic spine is towards the inside of the bag or towards the backplate of the bag?
There's no hard and fast rule here Greg. I would think that it makes more sense to have the spine pointing away from your back/toward the inside of the bag. But it could depend on how you are packing your bag, so I'd just go with whatever fits best.
Whilst pack brands place the bladder sleeve down the back of the pack, which is usually the best place for a heavy item like water, there's no harm in placing it elsewhere in the bag. I often lay my water bladder over the top of my bag and secure it with the top flap. That way the water is up high and over my shoulders, and it is easy to access for refills.
Hi, does this fit in the blackwolf crux 40 pack?
The Black Wolf 2 Litre Tank Hydration Bladder will fit inside the Black Wolf Crux 40 pack.
Do you deliver to po boxes?
Due to timeframe and misplacement issues that affected our valued customers, we have decided to no longer deliver with Australia Post. As a result, the only downside is that we, unfortunately, can't deliver to PO Boxes.
Hi, I have a Blackwolf Cuba 65 pack and am trying to figure out how to use this bladder with it. The trouble I have is that the main pack has no hydration port while the day pack does have one. Can you please suggest how best to use this bladder with just the main pack with no hydration port, short of cutting one? Alternatively, if I carry my day pack attached to the main pack, will this bladder''s hose be long enough to stretch from the day pack (sitting on the main pack), over the top of the main pack, all the way to my mouth?
As you've mentioned, the Black Wolf Cuba is a travelling backpack which means, unfortunately, there is no hydration port in the main pack. The best thing I could recommend is you run the hose out between the zips.
After testing it out with our display stock, while the hose would likely reach your mouth from the day pack, it would be hard to stow the hose when not being used. It's certainly possible (depending on how full your bag is), but not ideal.
It falls off too easily on its third use.
