1. How long will the batteries turn it for? 2. Ozpigs generate quite a lot of heat - won't this affect the batteries? 3. Is there any way you could attach the sides to poles to retrofit this to fit over a narrower stove like the kings or traveller boxes?
G'day Isabella,
I dont have an exact time frame on the batteries, but can say that we've been able to use our for 4-5 roasts, or maybe ballpark 20 hours per battery change?
These have been an Ozpig accessory for several years and there has been no reports of issues to the batteries or mechanisms due to heat.
It may be possible for you to retrofit this to other stoves, but that would entirely depend on the stove you have, and how handy & creative you are.
I have both Oz pig and big pig will it go on both
G'day Hansen,
The Rotisserie Kit will only fit on the Oz Pig, the brackets and the bar length have specifically been designed for that unit.
Hi how many KG roast can this hold?
G'day Bianca,
Ozpig doesn't specify a maximum weight, however, we'd recommend a roast of around 1-2kg to ensure your get an even cook.
more information regarding the Rotisserie
G'day Bill,
The Traveller model is an exclusive line to BCF, so, unfortunately, we're not able to get information regarding compatibility with the Rotisserie Kit.
I would be looking to go through one of the extension rings
G'day Andrew,
It's possible that you might be able to modify your Cobb or make some brackets to fit the Ozpig Rotisserie Kit to it, however, we've really got no way of testing this it's not something either of the units is designed to do.
Other that the chargrill attachment, is there anything else you need to get with the rotisserie kit?
G'day Brooke,
The only other thing you'll need is some D cell batteries and something delicious to roast!
Do I need the chargrill attachment to use the rotisserie attachment???
G'day Troy,
You don't need the Chargrill Plate and Drip Tray to use the rotisserie, but after talking to the staff on the shop floor they all agree it's going to work better with it.
