The creation of the Swedish FireKnife® was a collboration between Light My Fire and Mora of Sweden, a company that has been producing knives since the 1800's.

The result was a functional, sharp and sturdy knife with a built-in Swedish FireSteel® in a playful range of colours. The blade is shaped from Sandvik 12C27 Stainless Steel and is mounted in a comfortable TPE rubber material that gives it a soft and grippy feel.

A magnesium alloy Swedish FireSteel® mounted in the handle is easily removed with a twist and is used with the back of the knife to produce hot sparks to ignite a stove or tinder, even when it's wet. Mounted in a durable plastic sheath with belt clip, the Light My Fire FireKnife® is a great all-round blade for campsite tasks and food preparation.
