You’ve found the ideal camping spot by a beautiful river. There’s a light drizzle. You don’t want to coop yourself up in the tent or caravan all afternoon. That tarp you packed just in case - put it to work and make yourself an outdoor living room. Just add an Oztrail Galvanised Extension Pole, fix one side of the tarp to the tent, caravan, car, or tree, and voila… time to crack a beer.

Made from strong galvanised steel, it’ll last many camping trips. A thumb screw clamp allows you to adjust the size to suit. A plastic cap at one end will hold true in the ground, a spigot at the other will fit the eye of most tarps and awnings.

  • Made from galvanised steel
  • Thump screw clamp for easy adjustment
  • Spigot to fit eye of most tarps and awnings

Spigot dimension1 answer

Could you provide an approx diameter of the spigot as we have some poles where the spigot is too wide for the awning eyelets?

- Woy Woy(1 year ago)

Howdy Duncan,

The diameter of the spigot on the Oztrail Galvanised Extension Pole 9' is 8mm.

What is the shortest length of this pole is it a 7 ft pole or does it start shorter and extend longer?1 answer

- SYDNEY, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day John, I have just measured this pole it is 150cm (4ft 11in) when collapsed and 275cm (9 foot) when extended to maximum length. The spiggot on the top is 5 cm (approx 2 inches) in addition to these measurements. I hope this has helped you.
