Looking for an 11 yr old boy for a 3 day hike. Thanks
G'day Kirsten,
I've been and had a look at both of these and being a short, skinny guy I thought I'd try them on to give you a better idea of which one might work better. The big difference between the two is the Futura has a slightly elevated mesh back panel where-as the Aircontact Lite has a more traditional padded style back. I have a 28inch waist and one of my biggest problems with packs has always been getting a hip belt that I can cinch tight enough that it doesn't slide over my hips. Hands down the best option in this respect was the Air Contact Lite. It also has a more adjustable back panel so I think he'd have more room to grow into it as well. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
Will it fit a Samsung Note 5- dimension 153mm (H) x 76mm (W)x 8mm (D). Would you be able to give me the dimension of the hip pockets please??
G'day Debra,
I've just tried my Samsung Galaxy 6 that has a Lifeproof case and it just fits. Including the case my phone is 155mm x 80mm x 12mm. I would say you should be just ok to fit your phone in the hip pocket.
