Does this come with Anderson plug connection lead ? Or do u sell one separately ?
G'day Scott,
It doesn't come with an Anderson plug, and we don't sell an adaptor for this particular connection, sorry!
It would be fairly easy to modify the cable if you have those skills already.
Could i connect two panels into one controller ?
G'day Dani,
Unfortunately not, these small panels have one fixed connector terminal so there's no way to parallel the panels, and the regulator only has one panel input.
You could potentially modify the wiring to allow for it, but that would likely void warranty.
Will it still work if it's mounted to the dash?
G'day Larry,
Yes this will still work if you mount it to your dash.
Thank you My solar panel arrived yesterday I would like your advice on how to mount it I am mounting it permanently but should I make a gap between the cabin top or place it fully in contact for best results?
G'day Barry,
You can place these on the cabin without an air gap, it's super common for people to glue flexible panels straight onto canopies, etc.
Whilst an air gap would be best for performance generally, on a panel of this size it won't really make a difference.
Is this panel flexible? Can it be mounted on flat surface like a boat cabin top? and if so could someone tread on it without damaging it?
G'day Barry,
You can definitely mount it on a flat surface like a boat cabin roof, but wouldn't recommend it gets stepped on.
If you can mount it outside of foot traffic space, that'd be the best bet.
Can I glue the regulator to the rear of panel or will it be effected by sun's heat
G'day Graeme,
We wouldn't recommend glueing the regulator to the back of the panel, it may cause damage to the panel or regulator.
