When there are pesky insects buzzing about when you’re trying to enjoy a serene night out under the stars, just turn on the Z-Bug Lantern and Flashlight from Nebo Lighting.
This light features NUV LEDs which attract bugs to the light, and then the electric grid around it which zaps them so you can chill out and relax without being bothered. It’s got 360-degree protection cover for the electric rails though for your peace of mind, and it comes with a Z-bug bug sweeper to make it easy to clean.
You can use the Z-bug as either a spotlight which has one 120 lumen mode, or there are three modes to choose from on lantern mode: white light which is 250 lumens, light and NUV LEDs and NUV LEDs on its own – so you operate the light and mozzie zapper separately or together.
Just power it up by the 3 x AA batteries which are included with the Z-Bug from Nebo Lighting, for illumination and bug protection when you’re out in the elements.

G'Day Helen!
Mozzies are ruthless something hey! I've done some research into mozzies and they are attracted to blue light so the Z-Bug Lantern & Light would be able to aid you in your fight! There will always be a few that get by with this technique of repulsion.
I've just double-checked, and Nebo manufactures their units in China.

Batteries 1 answer
Where are the batteries located and how does one replace them? I notice somehow they recharge themselves or is that just my imagination
Thomas - Williamsburg VA(6 years ago)
G'day Thomas,
The batteries are located in the top of the lantern, there is a round plate that unscrews to replace them. The unit just takes standard AA batteries so they won't recharge themselves unless you have magical batteries!
