Wacaco

The idea for Wacaco was sparked by founder Hugo Cailleton’s experience one morning on a business trip, where he drank a poor tasting espresso in his hotel room – and the rest is history.

Cailleton created his products with the knowledge he gained from his master’s degree in industrial design and background working in manufacturing home espresso machines before he developed Minipresso.

Over 10 prototypes were built of the original design, but eventually, after much testing and feedback the Minispresso was born. Today, Wacaco has an entire range of portable espresso machines for travellers and outdoorspeople who value a good brew.
