Will this fit/work with my Dometic Fridge1 answer

Dometic CFF45 fridge, connecting to Engel smart battery box series 2. Box only offers one cigarette socket, I have a need for two (fridge and Korr lighting, both use cigarette plug). My approach is to wire in a plug replacement (Engel). Or find an appropriate cord with which to connect the fridge and the battery box at the Engel port. Many thanks

G'day Joel,

Unfortunately not, the Engel fitting is completely different from the Dometic fitting at the fridge end, so they're not interchangeable. You might be able to get an electrician / auto-electrician to make a custom cable, or you could use a 12v cig to Anderson plug adapter for one of the items - you can find them at some electronics/auto stores.

G'day Peter,

This cord should fit your 40L Engel if it is less than 15 years old. The cable has an Engel posifit end, so if that's what you're after it should suit. If you're needing a cable with a cigarette plug on the end, then the Type J cable is required.
