Roomy, with lightweight packed size and premium construction – the Superalloy 2P Tent from Marmot provides you with reliable shelter for your hike.
This tent is semi-freestanding and has colour-coded clips and poles for a simple set up. It’s designed with vertical walls for more space, and the clips are placed to increase the volume so you can stretch out comfortably in this tent. The fly has full-coverage fly with a rain-shield feature that prevents it from stretching out when it gets wet and provides protection from UV damage out in the field. To keep you dry from the ground up, the Superalloy has a bathtub floor which is seam taped to guard against leaks. Access the tent from either door and chuck your packs and boots into the vestibule on either side to keep out of the weather.
Hang up your headtorch in the lampshade pocket to enjoy ambient lighting in your shelter, and find your shelter more easily in the dark thanks to the reflective printing on the fly for better night-time visibility. The Superalloy 2P Tent from Marmot gives you enough space to comfortably establish base camp without weighing you down.

Hey there, My partner and I are looking at getting this tent, but we have double hiking mat that is 130cm wide. It says that the width at the top of the tent is 127cm, do you think it would be possible to squeeze the mat in it would it cause a problem?
G'day Rupert,
The maximum width of the Suprtalloy 2P is 127cm, so you'll struggle to fit a 130cm mat into the tent without distorting the mat. The foot end tapers down to 107cm too, so you'll definitely run out of room toward the foot end, unfortunately.
Your page says weight 1.27kg Min weight 1.02kg
G'day Tim,
There isn't an industry standard, however, the minimum weight is usually the tent body, fly and poles only. To achieve the minimum weight you'd leave the tent bag, pole bag and pegs behind, and use rocks or sticks to stake out the tent instead.
Hello, would you mind weighing the tent total weight? I am seeing some info online - and there isn't much - that it's more like 1150g max. Thanks!
G'day Adrian,
I've just weighed this on our super-accurate scales and it weighs 1.204kg.
Hi do you guys sell the footprint or a foot print to suit the superalloy tent.
G'day Andrew,
Unfortunately, the Superalloy 2P footprint isn't currently available in Australia.
