Product has changed to 120 Lumens

Bought this and exchanged it, as it is now only 120 lumens and not fit for purpose. It is well built but it did not meet expectations. Snowys are top quality customer service and paid for shipping back and exchanged it for something else. Just be forewarned.

Versatile light

Great little lantern that you can hang in the tent or use as a torch. Very bright light and compact unit but tough.

tough for camping or work

My second one of these, son borrowed first one. This can be used as a torch but for me the main use is area lighting when camping. Nothing worse than a light on the table at night when trying to eat etc, it hits you in the face and creates shadows. With this light you can put a string between two trees or of a branch and pull it up over the table. After tea pull it up to say7 or 8 m and it lights the whole camp. You get three nights out of one set of bats Not cheap but well worth the money.

Any other colours? Any IPX rating?1 answer

Please tell me there are some choices for colour? Drop proof? Waterproof? And lastly batteries included? Cheers!

G'day Steven,

Sorry mate but the Primus Super Nova 4AA LED Lantern only come in the red colour. Primus don't give any indication of a IPX rating or a an impact rating I'm afraid, they do include 4 Duracell AA batteries to get you started though.

Light output on low1 answer

What is the light output on the low setting for this lantern?

- Adelaide(5 months ago)

G'day Sam,

Unfortunately, Primus haven't tested a lumen rating for the low setting so I'm unable to answer this question. Sorry!
