The small side slot is for the handle of a mug. You can fit a wine glass in the holder, but it won't really be any different to popping it on the flat section of the table.

You'll have no issue if you accidentally leave your Oztrail Sun Lounge Deluxe out overnight, however it isn't fully weatherproof so best not to make a habit of it.  It won't cause damage per say, but may reduce the lifetime of your chair.

No, you cant.  The mechanism of the leg extension and recline function is symbiotic, and one cannot work without the other.

You can adjust the recline to any position you'd like and use the locking mechanism to hold it in place.

The Sun Lounge side table is not able to be purchased separately as its fully built into the frame.  A possible alternative option is the Oztrail Detachable Handy Table
