Great

Bought these about 5 years ago or more and have used them as a sleeping bag liner, so they got extensive use and washing and was time to replace, these seem to be just as good quality so looking forward to many more years of use from these

Great product

Soft, warm, actually does what it’s supposed to, easy to use, and easily fits back in its bag - this product ticks all the boxes - that’s why I have 4 of them for my family!

Essential Creature Comfort!

I bought two of these. One to cover my Exped LXW for a luxurious sleeping surface and the other just because! So warm, comfortable and versatile. Do yourself a favour and buy a couple 😜

Very versatile

I can't recommend this highly enough. I purchased this rust coloured liner to replace the drab grey one which came with my Coleman Pilbara C -5 sleeping bag, 100cm wide x 200cm long. Although its called a liner, its actually a synthetic fleece blanket, rated at 10deg. with a zipper across the foot and up one side. Laid flat the liner/blanket is slightly smaller than 200 x 200. It washes well, dries quickly on the line and keeps its shape. I haven't tried it in the dryer. The bag and the liner combined make a fabulously versatile combination. The sleeping bag has a seperate internal zip so the blanket can zip into place inside the bag or can be completely removed. Together they are tremendously warm. *You can zip it into the bag, so you have a dual layer sleeping bag. *With the blanket zipped in, you can unzip the outer bag and lay it out flat to create a double/queen sized sleeping bag with blanket on one side and sleeping bag on the other. You can then chose weather to have the thinner blanket or the warmer sleeping bag over you. *You can completely remove it and use the sleeping bag without it. *Keep it handy to throw over the top if it gets colder during the night. *Zip it up by itself and use it as a light weight blanket sleeping bag. *Or simply use it as a generous sized blanket. Between this new one and the original grey one, i now have a ‘clean’ one for inside the tent and a ‘dirty’ one for outdoor use. Very handy to have the two.

Great!

I have had mine for about a year now and it has been excellent. I went camping in may where it got down to 4C at night, and with this in my sleeping bag I was toasty and comfortable. It protects my bag from dirt and is very easy to wash and roll back up. Also great just as a light blanket. Highly recommend!

fast service and good product

The team were really nice at meeting my request for a specific colour. Service was fast and price was good. Tried it out at home and it is warm, but maybe only for a summer/spring time use, not warm enough for colder weather if using it stand alone. Only down side is the strong smell, washed it a few times and the smell is still there, little like plastic smell, which fleece is in a way!

Double liner3 answers

Can two of these zip together to use as a liner for double sleeping bag?

- brisbane(1 month ago)

G'day Alyshia,

The Coleman Stratus Fleece Liner can't be joined together sorry.

- Snowys(1 month ago)

Are you sure Tim? I have two of these and have zipped them together. As the description says: "can easily join with another liner for double the size"

- Sydney(1 month ago)

G'day Warren and Alyshia,

I'm so sorry, you're correct Warren. The Coleman Stratus Fleece Sleeping Bag Liner is definitely zip together compatible. Thanks for pointing that out mate.

Does the zipper open from the bottom as well to allow the feet to be open, but the sides zippered up?1 answer

Does the zipper open from the bottom as well to allow the feet to be open but the sides zippered up?

- Murwillumbah(1 year ago)

G'day Desiree,

Unfortunately, the zipper of the Coleman Stratus Fleece Sleeping Bag Liner (10°) can only be opened from the top.

- Snowys(1 year ago)

In summer do you think you could just use this without a sleeping bag1 answer

S

- Coffs (1 year ago)

G'day Jacob,

Tough one to answer because there are many variables in terms of where and how you're planning to sleep, how warm your body is through the night, outside temperature etc. However, we have heard of many people using it as a summer blanket so it's absolutely possible.

Liner for coleman pilbara C-5?3 answers

Hi there, just want to check this is the right liner for the Coleman pilbara C-5. Thanks :)

- Kenthurst (1 year ago)

G'day Linda,

From comparing the dimensions of the Stratus liner to the dimensions of the Pilbara C-5, it looks like it will be a good fit Linda.

- Snowys(1 year ago)

.... sorry to be a pest, do you happen to know if the zips are the same size as well?

- Kenthurst (1 year ago)

Hi Linda,

No worries Linda, that's what we're here for. I've called Coleman and they have said the zip is the same on the liner and the bag, and on Coleman's website it says that the Stratus liner can be used as a spare liner for the Pilbara C-5, so it looks like they should be compatible Linda.

How thick is the fleece?1 answer

is it as thick as the fleece you wear?

- 6210(1 year ago)

G'day Jack,

I've just had a feel of it, and I personally think it might be just a touch thinner than the fleece used on a jacket or pullover- but it's hard to compare it as all fabrics are a little different across the board.

- Snowys(1 year ago)

does this make a good sleeping bag?1 answer

What temperatures could you use this in if you were going to use it as a sleeping bag?

- 6210(1 year ago)

G’day Bill,

This liner has a compart temperature rating of 15 °C, so I’d say it’s probably not going to be appropriate to use in winter conditions on its own. Your best bet would be to combine it with a sleeping bag so that you’re plenty warm at night.

- Snowys(1 year ago)

Can you zip this I tithe Coleman Pilbara C0 bag?1 answer

- ERINA, NSW(2 years ago)
Hi Sheridan, this liner will not zip into the Pilbara C0, as that sleeping bag does not come with a liner and therefore doesn't have the additional zip required. You could still use it with that or any other sleeping bag, you just won't be able to zip it in.
