Hi I'd like to know If this is water proof? I use mine for a toilet and well I don't want to get wet while taking a 💩 Cheers
G'day Kyle,
These tents don't come with a waterproof rating, because Oztrail don't actually put them through waterproof testing, but the materials & overall performance of the tent indicate that you shouldn't have any problems.
Hi, what are the main differences between the two? Is the fastframe a pop up style? Thanks!
G'day Annie,
The Fast Frame Ensuite is indeed a pop up tent, but it has only a couple of small mesh pockets and a rear window.
The Dome Ensuite isnt a pop up frame, but it has more internal features such as a rear shelf, a towel rail and a waterproof pocket for valuables or for toilet paper if using as a toilet tent.
In terms of materials & build quality, they're essentially the same.
Hope that helps.
Hi Does it have a dry pocket for towel etc, when showering.
G'day Anne,
Unfortunately it doesn't.
The Oztrail Fast Frame Single Ensuite tent has a smaller mesh pocket around head height, and an exposed towel rail.
Wondering if a 10lt or 20lt bag will hang successfully
G'day Amanda,
The Frame on the Ensuite Tent won't be able to support a shower bag, unfortunately. These ensuite tents are designed for use with portable gas shower units. We'd recommend considering an option where you can suspend the bag from a tree.
Hi guys... What are your general thoughts on these two ensuites as a comparison? Setup and features? Which do you think is best?
G'day Marie,
The Zempire Pocket Rocket is a much larger ensuite tent, and when set up with give you an extra 50cm of internal width and depth. The Oztrail will set up more quickly with the Fast Frame style and has steel poles that remain attached to the ensuite for set-up/pack-down. Overall the Oztrail will be a little quicker to set up, but the Zempire will give you a little more space.
Hi Team, Any thoughts on this vs the Darche quick cube? any feedback on ease of setting up between the two.
G'day Blair,
At this stage, we haven't got any feedback on the Fast Frame as they're still fairly new. We found both options fairly easy to set up, and based on feedback from a customer regarding the Darche, the fly cap over to Oztrail might be a handy feature to have.
