G'day legends, I've got the older model which has served me well. My only gripe is that it's a bit noisy when I move around on it. Does this material behave the same way or has it improved?

G'day Jimmy,
Same sort of material - interestingly enough I recently did the overland track, and my Etherlight was by far the quietest mat in the dorm. The thermorest mats were insane! It seems to largely depend on the sleeping bag material aswell, but I've actually found slipping my mat into a liner makes it dead quiet. Also a great option for minimising any potential punctures, and if you like to use a quilt instead, or open up your sleeping bag, as the mattress is soft and covered. S2S used to do a fitted sheet specifically for these mats, but they dont anymore. The liner is the next best option.
