Sometimes lightweight hiking tents can need a bit of extra protection on rough ground, so make sure you shield the underside of your tent with a footprint.
This model is custom fitted to the Carbon Reflex 1, so you can rest assured that it will keep it in good condition for many future uses. You can also use the footprint to pitch your tent up as a form of very light shelter using this and the rainfly together.
Plus, it can be used as lunch or picnic rug!

Hi Guys, Just curious if this may work the same way for an EPE Spartan 2 I just bought off you. I know the sizes are very close and it'd fit, looking for a lightweight groundsheet for hiking.
G'day Mark,
To properly look after the base of your tent it is advisable to have a groundsheet that entirely covers the base of your floor so a better option could be the MSR Freelite 2 Footprint. This is 213cm long and 127 cm wide which should just fit your floor area of 215x125cm. If you'd like a bit of overlap, perhaps have a look at the Pappa Hubba footprint which would mean your vestibule area would have a floor too.
