The Dispatch Manager has a seriously important role at Snowys, and offers an exciting opportunity to anyone who wants to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and rewarding environment. 

Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the position involves leading our picking and packing team in fulfilling our online customer orders from around the country.

The role’s measure of success is in the achievement of daily pick, pack, and dispatch standards and KPIs which ensure we keep our promise to customers of speedy and quality service, every time. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coach, train and motivate team members in the achievement of their KPIs
  • Manage to our core values and lead by example
  • Oversee warehousing activities and ensure work is performed safely and procedures are followed
  • Customer order pick/pack and dispatch - including forklift operation
  • Stock control 
  • Prepare rosters based on predicted order numbers and staff availability
  • Assess team performance based on agreed KPI’s and coach for improvement
  • Regular ordering of packaging materials
  • Liaise with the customer support team regarding out-of-stock items and other order issues
  • Design and implement solutions to increase productivity and streamline pick/pack tasks
  • Produce regular reports and statistics for management
  • Communicate with our delivery partners when required

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Very good coaching and people management skills
  • A solid working knowledge of warehousing and WMS pick/pack systems (our warehouse runs on the recently implemented PeopleVox WMS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and IT generally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A current forklift licence

We’re on the lookout for a passionate Marketing Coordinator who takes pride in their work and would thrive in a close-knit, creative team. 

This is a full-time position based in our Keswick office, with flexible and hybrid working options available.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Implementing our marketing strategy and promotional calendar alongside our Marketing Manager
  • Analysing marketing performance metrics including website traffic, social media engagement and campaign ROI
  • Keeping our promotional calendar up to date and ensuring the Snowys team stay in the know about upcoming events
  • Planning and executing in store events for our customers, and social events for our team
  • Working with our graphic designer to ensure the timely delivery of campaign assets
  • Creating and driving an engaging email marketing calendar
  • Collaborating with the Product, Marketing and customer facing teams to ensure that our content is of the best quality to engage our customers

The skills we’d love you to bring:

  • Tertiary studies in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the online retail industry
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and content marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for creative and visual detail
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Passion for the outdoors and familiarity with camping and outdoor gear preferred but not required
