Are there any other colours
These are currently only available in the colour pictured, Suzanne. Whether or not EPE plan to make them in other colours is something we don't know sorry.
Are poles steel powered coated?
G'day Katrina,
The Beach Cabana has a powder-coated steel pole.
How is it in wind at the beach?
G'day Karen,
The Beach Cabana comes in a handy carry bag with a carrying strap. I've not seen a
Are there sides available for this type of cabana?
G'day Nick,
Unfortunately, the Explore Planet Earth Beach Cabana doesn't have any sides available.
I would like to be able to use it for shade when I am camping solo as it would be easy for me to put up and take down and to move it around during the day. It wouldn't be used when raining and would be packed away in the van at night.
G'day Lyn,
You could use the Explore Planet Earth Beach Cabana on grass you would just need to find a way to secure the sides down, maybe with a few rocks in the pockets. There are a little like setting up an umbrella so it should be fine to set up solo.
Thanks Leece. What about the centre pole? I imagine it gives stability by being pushed into the sand. How would it go on grass?
G'day Lyn,
Yes, the centre pole has a screw at the bottom that is quite easy to screw into the sand, but might be a little trickier on grass, but still achievable. You might want to check that the park you're staying in would be happy to have holes in their grass though if it's not yours.
