Owed to an effortless one-person set-up and pack-down process, with instructions included, you can delegate more duties to the dawdlers! Aluminium hardware and LST-coated, tear-check polycotton canvas has it lightweight, sleek, and strong, with Light Suppression Technology (LST) reducing visible light with all windows closed. With forward-facing rafters for front vehicle shade, its 270-degree design also allows shelter behind your vehicle, ideal for rear kitchen setups for those balmy BBQs out the back.
From searing sun to relentless rain – span your setup from edge to edge with a total of 10 square metres of awning coverage and up to 25 square metres with optional walls. In wet and windy weather, make use of the tie-off points allowing valleys for water run-off, three integrated telescopic poles for added stability amid gusts and gales, and a fully enveloping, laminated polyester transit cover with a self-repairing coil zip. Plus, light up those late-night cuppa moments thanks to built-in LED white and amber lighting.

Hi, we recently bought the 23zero panther 2000. We wanted to buy the 270 awning but not sure if this awning will be compatible with the tent.
Bec - Bendigo, VIC(4 months ago)
G'day Bec,
In theory you can have a 270 awning and roof top tent together for any make or model. The awning attaches to the roof rack platform or roof rails, and the roof top tent is mounted over the top. The only consideration you have is your vehicles roof load rating, the roof rack system load rating, and the orientation of your roof to tent.

Tailgate Access1 answer
Does this suit an SUV where the tailgate lifts upwards? I have a Ford Everest 2023.5 and got stung by this with a different brand... It looks like it should work fine.
Mark - Waratah, NSW (6 months ago)
G'day Mark,
Generally, you won't be able to fully open the rear lift-back style doors with 270 awnings. You may be able to modify the mounting brackets so the awning sits up higher, which may give some extra clearance, however, the rear aluminium extrusion of the awning runs across the back of the car & will be in the way.

But poles separate 1 answer
The awning comes with arms that don’t have integrated poles, but they come with the holes to add standalone poles…it’s frustrating that you pay more for the Pro version but non Pro comes with extra poles My question is where can I buy the spare poles from?
Glen - Melbourne, VIC(9 months ago)
G'day Glen,
The Falcon Pro does come with 3 integrated poles which only really need to be used in inclement weather, or when you're adding wall kits. These 3 poles support the main extrusions of the awning, leaving only the two outer extrusions without poles. As the outer extrusions have a heavy-duty strap to anchor them to the vehicle, they really don't require pole support. You may want to consider grabbing poles for them if the weather gets really bad, in which case generic awning poles from any brand should work, grab ones that can extend up to 2.7m high.

Back track1 answer
Hi, The tracks for the bolts to slide through to attach onto the roof rack brackets, are they still under the canvas or have they changed it to sit on the outside of the canvas without having to cut a whole for the bolt to sit like the 270 Falcon.
Tee - Sydney, NSW(10 months ago)
G'day Tee,
23 Zero has let me know it is the same as the current Falcon. It has a fully enclosed cover to ensure no water ingress.

Freestanding?1 answer
Hi, whilst it doesn’t actually say so in the description of the 23Zero awning and looking at the Snowys video/review, this awning really needs to be used all the time with the poles? The reason I ask is the image used doesn’t appear to actually show the poles being used? Thanks for taking the time to respond, always happy to buy from Snowy’s!!
Peter - Sydney (10 months ago)
G'day Peter,
In perfect weather condition you would not have any issue using this awning freestanding. That being said, we would recommend using the legs just in case the weather may change and the wind blow up, but thats up to you.
