I've given OZtrail a buzz about this. They told me that their website is wrong and needs updating as the previous model had the sleeve for the ridge bar to slide through but the new model of their RV Shade Awning Extender that they're getting produced in a different factory doesn't have that feature any more, it's as shown on our website, not theirs.

It does look like Oztrail have made the new model of the RV Shade Awning Extender slightly shorter. I've given them a buzz to confirm this for sure and they're going to get back to me. As soon as I know anything, I'll let you know.

I've just heard back from Oztrail and can confirm that the Oztrail RV Shade Awning Extender is now slightly shorter than the previous model so might not go all the way to the ground for you anymore. 

I'm not familiar with the ARB awning sorry David. As a general rule most sail tracks will accommodate the same diameter of cord ( about 6mm), so as long as all the other dimensions check out, you shouldn't have a problem.

The Oztrail RV Shade Awning rails are designed to be a generic rail that will work with many other accessories, although to be safe, it's always good to double check measurements. I've popped a photo on here for you that will help you to work out whether or not it'll fit with your caravan.
