Does it feel like you're on an air mattress? I'm after the most comfortable soft foam mattress for a side sleeper. I don't want to feel air moving around, I want something as close to a real bed as possible. My mattress at home is soft, not firm. Which mattress would you recommend? A couple i'm looking at: Supreme Snoozer Mattress 1100, Hexatherm 3D15 SP Queen Mattress, 3D Fatmat 1500, DreamLux 15.
G'day Kelly,
No, they don't feel like an air mattress - based on what you've described, a 15cm mattress will be the best option.
The Hexatherm 3D15 SP Queen Mattress, 3D Fatmat 1500, DreamLux 15 are all good options, and will largely be the same in manufacturing quality and comfort.
Hi, how does this compare to the OZtrail 3D Fatmat 1500? They seem similar in spec.
G'day Nat,
We've done a comfort test on these demo models instore for you, and it's really hard to choose the differences between these mats.
If we had to pick a difference, we'd say the Oztrail is abit firmer & the Quest is abit softer.
Do you folks have a youtube walk through of this mat yet ? Thanks
G'day Norm,
Not yet. We have passed the request on to our web team. Keep an eye out and subscribe to the Snowys Outdoors YouTube channel.
How do you think these compare to the blackwolf mats for quality, especially longevity? Thanks
G'day Mick,
They're brand new, so we cant comment on the longevity side of things, sorry!
We'd need a good 12-18months before we start getting feedback in from campers on this mat.
First impressions are pretty good - we don't sell BlackWolf 15cm thick mats, so not sure on a direct comparison, but they're pretty comfy!
