What kind of alkaline battery does it use?
G'day Yen,
You can use any alkaline batteries in the MH6 headtorch. If you purchase higher quality batteries then your headtorch will likely last a little longer and be a little brighter.
Hi This article doesn't mention a red light but it is mentioned on other sites. Can you confirm if the model you are selling has a red light setting please ? Thanks
G'day Ellen,
I've had a play around with our display model and the MH6 does have a red light. simply hold the button down from the off position and it will turn the red light on.
If the battery performs poorly over time, is it covered under warranty for 5-7 years and will it be replaced if required?
G'day Max,
I've had a chat with Led Lenser and there is a 2 year warranty on the battery itself. The 5-7 years is only on the torch.
Only the red light and the white light is operational. Maybe I have the operation wrong. I gather the third light on the side must work, although I cannot get it to function. I only received this product yesterday. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong please?
G'day Greg,
I've just had a look into this for you and checked out or product features video. The three light modes we're referring to on the MH6 are the high, low and flash mode settings. Hopefully, that clarifies it for you.
as above
G'day Phil,
I just had a bit of a play with our display model of the Ledlenser MH6 LED Headlamp and yes, you can adjust the beam focus between narrow and wide by twisting the outer rim of the light.
Both these headlamps are pretty similar in price and what they offer. Which one is going to be the best choice? I will be using it for multiday trekking. Thoughts?
G'day Phil,
The key difference between the Ledlenser MH6 and the SEO 5 is the battery power of the two. The SEO 5 is powered by a single AAA battery and will last a little longer than the MH6, which is rechargeable but doesn't last quite as long.
