A lightweight, compact and priceless addition to your campsite kitchen. The Campfire Non-stick Saucepan, with a base suitable for gas, induction and electric stoves may also become useful at home, you can even stick the whole thing in the oven when the handle is removed.
Did you know that many non-stick surfaces are made using Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), a suspected cancer-causing agent in the manufacturing stage? Well, you don’t need to worry because these don’t have any perflur.., flurpa.., perfluroo.., any of that nasty stuff in it.
The Die Cast Aluminium has a triple coated non-stick surface and an easily detachable handle along with a glass lid, the Campfire Non-Stick-Saucepan is just the thing for making gravies, sauces, or for boiling eggs.

is the coating ceramic?
G'day Margaret,
I have just been in contact with the Campfire product team and they have let me know the non-stick coating is a water-based coating similar to Teflon and PFOA-free, the coating isn't ceramic.
Do you know the volume of this pot? Like how many litres can it hold? Thanks
G'day Kathryn,
A capacity isn't given for this saucepan, but a quick volume calculation shows it is around 1.2L.
I have a portable induction cooker - instructions say will not work with aluminium pots - can you confirm suitability of this saucepan..?
G'day Patricia,
There are loads of different grade Induction cookers, so I cant say with any certainty that it will work with your cooktop without trying it out - BUT we do have reviews from customers saying it worked with their induction cookers, no issues.
Just wondering how the handle will go on a gas burner stove where occasionally, with wind, the flame can flick around the sides. Will the handle melt?
G'day David,
We've stocked these for several years & never had any complaints or negative feedback about the handle deteriorating - so I'd say that's grounds to say you shouldn't have any issues. Of course with anything relating to cooking/gas/flames, etc a bit of common sense goes a long way....if the handle is constantly in flames, just rotate the pot so that's not happening.
Hope that helps.
How much is the capacity of the pot? (how much liter)
G'day Tomo,
A capacity isn't given for this saucepan, but a quick volume calculation shows us its around 1.2L
Hope that helps!
Is the Campfire Compact Nonstick Saucepan 24cm OK to use on a small petrol camping stove?
G'day Gerry,
Yes, the Campfire Compact Nonstick Saucepan will be fine on a small petrol camping stove. You will just need to make sure the flame isn't too large for the pot as flames up the side may cause damage to the handle mechanism.
Is there a 20L version of this compact nonstick saucepan
G'day Suzanne,
We don't have a 20L version of the Campfire Compact Nonstick Saucepan, I'm sorry to say. If you were looking for something to hold large amounts of food/water for heating, the best I can suggest is the Companion Power Cooker & Stockpot Set.
Is there a steamer available that fits on top of this saucepan?
G'day Rowan,
We don't have a steamer that will fit the Campfire Compact Nonstick Saucepan, unfortunately. We do have some steaming racks for camp ovens that will go over the top but they can't be sealed off like a traditional vegetable steamer can be.
What is the diameter of this saucepan?
G'day Roxy,
The internal diameter of this saucepan is 16cm and the depth is around 7-7.5cm with the lid on. This saucepan also features a small pouring lip for sauces and other fluids. One of the great things about this Compact Saucepan is that once the handle and lid is removed you can pop the whole thing in the oven!
The surface is made from a far healthier triple coated PFOA FREE non-stick surface and comes with a glass lid so you can see what you are cooking. It is suitable for induction, gas and electric stove tops.
