OZtrail Mozzie Dome I Tent

Oztrail list the Mozzie Dome as have No-See-Um mesh, so theoretically yes, this should keep the midges out.

I've just double checked and there is no footprint available for the Mozzie Dome 1 Tent.

The Mozzie Dome II Fly isn't designed to work with the Mozzie Dome I Tent, so whilst you might be able to somehow make it work, it won't line up well and probably won't work for you.

We don't have any stock at the minute so I gave Oztrail a call to find out for you. Murphy's Law, they're out of stock of the Oztrail Mozzie Dome I Tents too. They did some digging around with specs etc. for me and worked out that without poles and accessories, it would weigh around the 500g mark but we couldn't get an exact weight I'm sorry.

If your stretcher is the same size (or bigger) than the base of the Oztrail Mozzie Dome I tent, then you'll have no worries with putting it on the stretcher. If the stretcher is smaller though, then it will sag at the ends and lose shape, unfortunately.

I've just had a look at an Oztrail Mozzie Dome I Tent for you and have the lengths for you. There are 2 x 349cm poles, made up of 9 equal length pieces each. The diameter of those poles is 7.9mm. The third pole is 120cm long and is made up of 3 equal length pieces, this one is 8.5mm in diameter.

We haven't tried this ourselves, but theoretically yes you could. You would probably want to take care when putting it into a stuff sack though, and roll/fold it instead of scrunching.
