Hi, looking to purchase these poles for hike where ground will be mostly rugged bush with some rocks/inclines etc. Do I need to purchase any tips for these poles?
Jas - TAS(1 year ago)
G'day Jas,
The Carbide tips on these poles is designed for rugged bush track use, with rocky outcrops, so you'll be fine. You can put separate rubber tips on, but these are generally recommended for use on pavement and indoors to reduce the "clickety clack" sound of the tips.

Foldable? Straps adjustable?1 answer
How much do these fold up? will they fit into a medium size backpack (women's) AND are the straps adjustable?
Sandra - Chatswood, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Sandra,
The packed size is stated in the specifications, they're not folable, but they will collapse down to 65cm long for packing. You'd need to measure the backpack you have to see if these will be compatible. The strap is adjustable, and is well padded, so you'll have no trouble getting a comfy fit.

Compatible with tent?1 answer
Will these trekking poles (with their angled grips) work with a hiking pole tent (like the SMD lunar solo or Lanshan)?. Or would a straight pole (e.g. Black Diamond Alpine Carbon) work better?
Hayley - East Geelong, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Hayley,
You shouldn't have any troubles using these Trail Ergo Cork Poles with a hiking pole style tent. Usually, in that type of tent you'd invert the pole so that the top of the handle is touching the ground, so you can usually compensate for any offset by creating a little divert in the ground.

What are the Women's specific characteristics?1 answer
Apart from the 125mm max extension to the 140 max extension of the non women's specific poles, what are the differences to the Trail Ego Cork Poles?
Jon - Margate Qld(4 years ago)
G'day Jon,
The women's specific poles are fairly similar to the unisex poles, however as you say they are slightly shorter overall, as well as being a little lighter.

Is the price for two poles, or just one?1 answer
I presume it's for two judging by the photo, but I can't see it mentioned anywhere. :-)
Catherine - Skennars Head(4 years ago)
G'day Catherine,
These poles are sold in a pair, so the price listed is for a pair of poles.
