Can you just use this to read the tyre pressure but not deflate tyres?

G'day Ejo,

Yep, you can.
The gauge can be twisted to activate continuous deflate, or you can press down on the thumb pad for intermittent deflate.
If you don't do either of those deflate activations, the gauge shouldn't release any air from your tyres.
