The updated Targhee EXP Mid WP Boots from Keen provide the durability and excellent fit that this model is known for but in a leaner package.
Featuring a performance mesh upper, these boots provide your feet with lightweight protection on the trail. The exterior has a polyurethane coated mud shield which adds to the durability of these boots and the reinforced eyelets make them easy to adjust. Your feet will be kept dry thanks to the waterproof membrane, while the mesh lining allows them to breathe. Cushioning and impact absorption are provided by the compression moulded EVA midsole and metatomical dual density EVA footbed.
These boots also have an injected TPU heel capture system for stability and an ESS shank for lightweight support. You’ll be able to trek across all kinds of surfaces in the Targhee EXP’s as they have Keen’s high traction all-terrain rubber outsole as well. Lace on a pair of the Targhee EXP Mid WP Boots from Keen for streamlined performance on the trail.

G'day Sue,
We've double checked with Keen and while the Targhee EXP Mid WP Wmn's Boot is fully synthetic, it is not technically vegan. The glue used to adhere the soles generally isn't classified as vegan. We've checked with our other suppliers too, and there isn't a brand that deems their footwear to be completely vegan, again due to the glue. So I would say it would depend on how strict you are.

Update 17/4: Update
Since the time of responding to this question, we have been made aware that there is a polyurethane coated leather mud shield. As indicated in our previous response these are not vegan and are also not completely synthetic as originally indicated.
