The Sea to Summit Women’s Talus WTSII is the sleeping bag for the year-round hiker or trekker. Cool enough to use in summer, spring, and autumn, but with enough warmth in reserve to cater for a cold night in the tent.
The length of this bag is reduced for a closer fit, and the hip area is widened for added roominess for a women’s specific fit. Sick of cold feet? The Talus II also comes with two combined down and Thermolite synthetic baffles under the foot area which will keep your heels and ankles warm in the area where feet can compress the down.
The breathable Nylon 2D NanoShell™ will protect against a sweaty night's sleep and ensures the down remains dry and lofty. The Talus TSII is designed to provide an excellent weight to warmth ratio, so you’ll be able to use it on all kinds of outdoor expeditions.
Featuring an adjustable collar to assist in fine turning temperature control, a zipped internal pocket for keeping your wallet, passport, or valuables safe, an anti-snag zip that actually works, and offset baffles and side block baffles to ensure down doesn’t move around. The Talus TSII is for those adventurers that want one sleeping bag that will suit most conditions.

Will this bag keep me warm in snow/alpine conditions?.1 answer
I always seem to freeze in my sleeping bag and I want to invest in a bag that will keep me warm and that is why I’m looking at women’s specific bags
Roxanne - Albert Park(5 years ago)
G'day Roxanne,
The Talus WSTII Wmn's Sleeping Bag has a comfort temperature of -10'C so it should be ok in most snowy/alpine conditions in Australia. Best bet will be to pair it with a well-insulated mat to make sure you keep toasty warm.

Nepal trek1 answer
I'll be trekking the Langtang area of Nepal in October and am looking for a sleeping bag. The company I'm going will recommends a three season bag. Being a cold sleeper with hope to get some more use out of the bag in the new year doing the Tasmanian overland I was wondering what you would suggest?
Alice - Adelaide(6 years ago)
G'day Alice,
I've just done a quick overnight temperature check for Lantang in October and you should be nice and toasty in the Sea to Summit Talus WTSII Women's Sleeping Bag. This should also suit you well on the overland in the New Year.

compact/lightweight1 answer
I have been researching sleeping bags, is this the most compact/light womens-specific bag in the Sea to Summit Range? I am looking at a bag that will be used in conditions down to about -5 c.
JC - NSW(6 years ago)
G'day JC,
Have you considered the Sea to Summit Trek WTkII Women's Sleeping Bag? It's a little more compact, but a touch heavier and has a comfort rating to -8C. It can be found here.
Between the Talus and Trek, these are your two best options for what you are looking for.
