If you want your friends and fam to feel like VIP guests when they come to stay, then set them up on a Supportrest Elite Pillow Top Queen Airbed from Coleman.
Setting this bed up is super simple, as it has a built-in 120V performance pump which will get this bed inflated in just three minutes. The reinforced construction provides a stable surface to sleep on, which the pillow top provides extra support for all night comfort. This bed is factory tested to be leak free, and you’ll be able to pop on your spare queen-sized sheets as they’ll fit this airbed perfectly.
Pack up is also really easy, as you just open the valve, and then use the pump to fully deflate. Whether you need a bed for luxurious camping trips or need a reliable spare bed for guests – the Coleman Supportrest Elite Pillow Top Queen Airbed is a solid choice.
Is it available
G'day Sandra,
Unfortunately not, the Supportrest Elite Pillowtop is just available in the Queen size.
Hi Snowy, sorry to ask this again, but with the suportrest elite, can I use my Coleman rechargeable pump if I can't plug it in or is the pump hole on this air bed just for deflation? Thanks
G'day Nina,
I've had a chat with Coleman and their advice is - it is not recommended to use a 12v rechargeable pump as its designed to be inflated with the inbuilt 240v pump. The deflation hole can be used for inflation, but Coleman doesn't recommend this.
Do you sell or can you recommend any portable power packs that can be used to inflate this bed when camping on a non powered site?
G'day Mike,
You won't be able to use the built-in pump with a portable power pack unless you run it through an inverter, unfortunately, which will set you back a few hundred dollars for something suitable. Your best bet will to grab a rechargeable pump to use separately.
Hi guys, I want to use this when I'm on a non powered site and am confused if you can or can't use a manual/12v pump. There are two contradictory replies to questions on your site. One response says you can't use a manual /12 v pump the other reply a month later says you can.
G'day Nath,
Sorry for the confusion, Just to clarify I've had a chat to Coleman and their advice is - it is not recommended to use a 12v pump as its designed to be inflated with the inbuilt 240v pump. So, it's not a definite 'no' but they just don't recommend it.
Any idea on how large an Inverter you would need to inflate the bed with the Inbuilt pump from a vehicle?
G'day Alan,
You'll be looking for a DC to AC inverter that will genuinely push out the amount of wattage required for your mattress pump. This one will be key, and often the stated wattage capacity and its actual performance can vary. You also probably need you get an auto electrician to check that you have sufficient sized wiring between your battery and connection to the inverter, and your vehicle will need to be running whilst actively inflating the mattress.
How thick is the pillow top?
G'day Penny,
The Supportrest Elite Pillowtop mattress has a compact rayon flocked pillow top, so it's really just the top layer as you see it in the images. It's hard to give a direct comparison to pillowtop depths on regular mattresses. What we do know is that they are pretty comfy, and add a little insulation to your luxurious style airbed.
Hi, could you inflate this manually as well as with the build in
G'day Tersia,
Yes, you can use a manual pump with the Coleman
I know the pump is "built in" but how does it work, exactly? Do you have to plug it into 240v mains power point or something?
G'day Elmer,
The pump for the Coleman Supportrest Elite Pillowtop Queen Airbed needs 240v power to work, so you'd need to plug it into a powerpoint, yes.
I’m wondering how this compares in comfort and durability to the standard Coleman double height mattress as this one has very little reviews and that one has heaps
G'day James,
The Coleman Supportrest Elite Pillowtop Queen Airbed and the Coleman Double-High Quickbed & Pump are very similar when it comes to the materials they're made of and the quality of the manufacturing. The only real difference is the pillowtop. You really should expect very similar results when it comes to durability. As for comfort, it can be a bit of a personal thing but the pillowtop does make the Supportrest a really nice airbed!
If you are camping in the bush can the air bed be blown up by a 12 volt air pump.
G'day Leanna,
Unfortunately the Coleman Supportrest Elite Queen Airbed can only be inflated using the included 240v pump. If you wanted a bed that can be inflated with a 12V pump your best bet would be the Coleman All Terrain Queen Airbed.
Can the in-build pump be removed for repairs or replacement and do you stock a double bed size?
G'day Lorraine,
Unfortunately, that's a downside of the Coleman Supportrest Elite Pillowtop Queen Airbed in that if the pump stops working, there is no way of replacing or repairing it.
You can, however, buy a double high airbed without the pump here.
