How do you dispose of these bags? And how long do they hold out before starting to break down?

Hi G,

It is best to dispose of biodegradable bags with waste in your regular home bin or landfill. Make sure to check your local regulation guidelines to see if binning human waste is allowed where you are.

Biodegradable bags can take anywhere from 3 - 12 months to break down into smaller pieces once in the landfill. The bags will last for years if not used.

If you wish to compost or put something in your Green Organics Bin, you will need 100% home-compostable bags.
