Is your tent looking a little bit gloomy and dark? You don’t have to struggle to stand your torch upright anymore, as you can brighten up your tent bedroom with a Rechargeable Tent Light from Oztrail.
This little light will illuminate your space when it’s cold and dark outside so you can curl up inside your shelter and relax. At one click of the button you’ll have a bright light, and two clicks will dim it to the lower setting. You can clip this light to the inside of your tent, on the back of your pack for safe keeping, or wherever else you need a hands free light when it’s dark out.
Sure torches are handy – but they don’t live you that illumination from above that helps your shelter feel like you’re right at home. That’s why you’ve got to get yourself a Rechargeable Tent Light from Oztrail for your next camping getaway.
We hang this inside our swag, its nice and bright without being too bright!
However, the frosted white cover keeps falling off, nothing a bit of sticky tape can't fix.
Magic.. USB rechargeable, Magnet on rear, Clips to the side of the tent, to the side of your chair. Creates a good white light on two light settings.. Highly Recommend.. Build quality - faultless...
I also had a problem with the lid but once screwed on tightly it has stayed on. Perfect light for our 4 person tent.
Seemed good initially but after first night white cover fell off and thread is so fine it doesn't screw back on.
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that Paul - I hope you weren't left in the dark for the rest of your trip. Please give us a call on 1300 914 007, we'd like to fix the issue. Cheers, Laine :)
Compact yet good light. A soft led rather than the harsh ones.
Great tent light.
In normal home room lighting, what would you compare the output to. thanks
The standard 60W household light equates to roughly 800 lumens (a measure of the brightness of light).
We have a Primus lantern that puts out 1000 lumens which gives a beam distance 38 metres which is more than enough for a large room. If you require even more light we also have a Coleman dual fuel lantern you might consider. If this seems a little too much light or you'd prefer slightly softer light, have a look at the lanterns in our 400-800 lumen range here.
Hope this helps.
How many hours of light do you get before needing to recharge?
I've just checked with Oztrail and they've said that fully charged this light will run for 4 hours at 100% and 10 hours at 50%.
Hi I wondered if you knew how many hours light is produced before this needs recharging
G'day Jayne, that's a great question! I can't find the specs on this anywhere. We'll have to get in touch with Oztrail and see what we can find out for you! Leave it with me and I'll see what we can do.
I apologise for the delay in getting back to you, Oztrail have just sent me through the details about the Rechargeable Light.
They've said that charging takes 3-4 hours and once fully charged this light will run for 4 hours (at 100%) and 10 hours (at 50%).
