If you’re about to head out on a trip – you’re going to need a solid pair of shoes that’ll deliver on comfort on all kinds of terrain like the Quest Prime 6TX Boots from Salomon.
The split suede leather will keep out water while providing durability, and Salomon’s Sensifit system cradles the foot for a secure and precise fit. The added protective heel cap also adds to stability, while protecting your toes from getting roughed about on the trail. The grip on these shoes will give you excellent traction across a wide range of surfaces, and the lightweight chassis between the outsole and midsole will help to keep you as stable as possible.
The sockliner uses Ortholite foam and the back has an EVA heel cup for heel support, cushioning, and to keep your feet dry. With these boots, you’ll have the lightness to move quickly, and the support for your ankle that you need for hiking or backpacking.

Could you explain the differences between the Quest Prime and Quest 4D? Thanks
G'day Matt,
The Quest 4D 3 GTZ Boots are a little more advanced than the Quest Prime. They have a slightly more reinforced central chassis and a slightly higher tracking sole. They also have a slightly different upper, with the Quest 4D having nubuck leather, and the Quest Prime is split suede.
Just wanted to ask when you may be expecting to get more stock (sizes)in .please ?
It looks like we are expecting some stock in mid to late January, Shane, but footwear orders always seem to be subject to change. Keep an eye on our website, once our stock levels go up you will be able to order again, and hopefully, our supplier will have more reserve stock then also for us to order from.
Do these shoes contain any metal? Upper lace loops?
G'day Ron,
The upper lace loops on the Salomon Quest Prime GTX Men's Boots are made of metal.
