Very light and easy to store and transport, the Kookaburra Portable Toilet is easy to set up anywhere by simply unfolding and using the disposable plastic bags provided
I'm a bigger guy and never felt safe sitting on this, so I bought the Oztrail Quadfold Toilet Chair as well , before I went on my trip, that one was excellent in comparison. So left this at home!
Yeah, this one's not real stable, more of a support than a place to rest your behind for long. The Oztrail Quadfold Toilet Chair, as you mentioned, is a much sturdier option. Thanks for your feedback Nick. ~ Ben.
Came very quickly. The toilet came very handy on our trip away but is a little to high
The toilet was delivered very quickly, but is not very stable. You know when you are at a restaurant and the table keeps moving. Well this is the same except it's a toilet....
G'day Derek. As much as I enjoyed the pun, I'm really sorry to hear you're not loving your new toilet. If there is anything we can do to fix the issue, please give us a call on 1300 914 007. Last thing we want is your toilet to be a pain in the bum (couldn't help myself). Laine :)
We bought this as an emergency overnight toilet for the kids in the caravan. The novelty factor of a toilet in the annex meant they wanted to use it all the time but as it compacts very nicely, we were able to hide it during the day.
When my daughter was ask what she liked about our holiday the most, she replied the toilet.
The only downside is that the seat height is quite tall for kids under 5. Their feet don’t quite touch the ground which can cause balance issue, especially at 2am.
This toilet is great. We purchased it for our 2 year old daughter. Whilst travelling long distance, we had it on hand to pull over on the side of the road, as required. Or whilst camping, when the Bush toilet was not close enough, we set this up with a liner and disposed of contents accordingly. Highly recommend this basic option, especially as an alternate option to a 'potty'.
An honest question... where does one dispose the bags once used? Do you place chemicals/tablets as you use them?
The Kookaburra Portable Toilet is different to the other types of portable toilets that store waste inside the unit, such as the Portapotti or Dometic range - these types use chemicals and tabs to break down waste, keep smells at bay, and prevent gas build up.
Each time you use the Kookaburra toilet, you use a different bag that you then dispose of at a waste dumping point, so you won’t actually need to use chemicals with it.
Need to know if a weight limit would make this useful for my family.
The Kookaburra Portable Toilet has a weight limit of 70 Kg so it is going to be a good one for kids, but I'd say for taller adults this model may not be the best option.
33 X 46 size seat - are they the right dimensions 31cm height
