If you just need a simple stove for simple cooking, then the Peak 1 Trekking Stove from Coleman will give you everything you need without the unnecessary features. You’ll have plenty of fuel for your whole trip as Coleman have made sure that this product can cook efficiently with less fuel.

You won’t have to stress about your pot of porridge slipping off your stove and spoiling your brekkie (and your shoes) as the pan supports are serrated which will prevent your pot from sliding around. Sometimes old school methods are just simpler, and more reliable. All you’ll need is a humble match to get this stove going - and in no time you’ll have a hot meal ready to eat.

You probably aren’t going to be able to whip up a confit duck breast on this stove, but you’ll be able to get a simple meal going with no problem at all. Perfect for the couple who just needs a minimal stove for roadside camping, or for the hiker who needs a compact and portable stove to fit in their pack.

Use with trangia1 answer

Would it be possible to use this as a gas burner for a trangia?

- Flagstaff Hill(7 months ago)

G'day Kieran,

We wouldn't recommend using this with a Trangia, no. The windshields of the Trangia would come down over the gas canister of the Coleman Peak 1 Trekking Stove and we're not too comfortable with the safety aspects of it if it got too hot in there.
