color differnce- black alloy vs ebony1 answer
Hi, Which is darker in color the Black Alloy or Ebony? Also, is one matte (i.e. not glossy) and the other more glossy? Thanks,
Seth - Melb, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Seth,
The Black Alloy is black, the Ebony is a darker Bluish-Charcoal colour. They are made of identical fabrics, so both have the same finish.

leda - nsw(3 years ago)
G'day Leda,
There are two size models of this pack, when you select the size it will update the back length of the pack in the specifications section. The Small/Medium model is suited to back lengths of 43-49cm.

Is it possible and easy to attach a foam mat to the pack?1 answer
Are there any specific attachment points etc? Cheers
Ben - 3926(4 years ago)
G'day Ben,
You could attach a roll mat to the bag of the pack using the hood clip, however there aren't many attachment points. These packs have been designed to be ultra-lightweight, so the bells and whistled tent to be left off.

S/M pack is listed as a total weight of 815g but does not list the weight without the detachable lid.

G'day Alex,
I've just detached the top lid and weighed it for you, the detachable lid weighed 94g. The total weight of the bag with the lid attached is 820g.

Weight limit1 answer
Hi I was wondering what the weight limit for this pack is?
Phil - Sydney (4 years ago)
G'day Phil,
Salomon don't specify a maximum carrying weight for this pack, but the general rule of thumb with a lighter weight day/overnight pack is that it should not weigh more than 10-20% of your body weight. We'd say with a pack the size you'll run out of space before you run out of weight. The Out Week 38 6 is really designed for overnight hikes, or longer lightweight adventures, so we'd probably suggest maximum weight of around 15-20kg give or take.
