A tough frypan with low sides, the Hillbilly Omelette Frypan folds flat for easy transport and is perfect for cooking omelettes, eggs, toasting flat bread or making pancakes.
Let’s set some expectations though, Hillbilly make gear functional and unbreakable, but it’s not pretty. Made with heavy duty steel welded together and touched up with paint to keep the rust at bay, a good clean and a seasoning with fresh cooking oil will ensure your Hillbilly gear lasts you a lifetime.
Hi can this pan be used over a fire or gas? Thank you

G'day Lyn,
The Hillbilly Omelette Pan has been designed for campfire use, but you can also use it on a gas stove.

Hey there! Are these the same type of pans as a carbon steel/blue steel pan would be? we love ours at home and looking for one to take camping so if this is the same with a folding handle that would be awesome! thanks

G'day Bec,
Yes, these Omelette Frypans are made from the same steel as the rest of the Hillbilly range. Hillbilly uses Black Steel for all of their products.

Gday, just wondering if you guys sell carry bags for the hillbilly omelette frying pan. Thanks

G'day Hayden,
We don't stock a bag specifically made for the Hillbilly Omelete Frypan 23cm however, the Campfire Pioneer Camp Oven Bag 2Qt would be the best option to fit the pan. Check out the link here.
