Cap Removal1 answer

I've just received some of these containers but unsure how to undo the black cap. There are teeth preventing anticlockwise movement. Other containers I have do not have these teeth and open easily with the red spanner. Do I just use the spanner and force it to open? I don't want to damage the container/cap. Please advise.

You just undo the black cap and separate the teeth layer - just like with a bottle of milk or coke, etc its a tamper proof safety ring that's supposed to be broken on first use.

Can the bung be removed and if so, how do you remove it?

Yes, the bung can be removed, the best way to do this is with a bung spanner, or you can use a large flat head screwdriver.
