Do you think if I put food in a ultrasil dry bag inside this mesh bag, it would help to detract rodents when camping overnight (also hanging it from a tree)? How tough is the mesh? Thanks.

G'day Colleen,
Rodents can have a keen sense of smell and this wouldn't be totally rodent-proof, but if you were to hang this from a tree and seal your food up well the less likely they could get into your food. You could make a natural rodent repellent in a small pouch that includes herbs like peppermint, rosemary, lavender and cloves to pop in your bag and help deter them from the food.
This stuff sack is made from a durable Nylon mesh, although I wouldn't doubt that some creatures could chew through this.
