If you don't want to shell out the big bucks on your next overnight winter hike, but need something decent beneath you while you sleep - Klymit's Insulated Static V Sleeping Pad gets the tick.
Designed with their patented V-shaped body mapping technology, this Klymit mat incorporates lofted synthetic insulation to provide an R-value of 1.9. It offers exceptional warmth without sacrificing comfort or pack-size and still manages to keep the weight down. The deep weld patterning creates expansion zones that allow your mat to stay fully lofted even when you're on top, where the integrated side rails keep you comfortably centred on your mat - helping you stay snug and supported all night.
Don't let chilly nights keep you away from your adventures. Go prepared and add the Insulated Static V from Klymit to your sleep system.

Valve type1 answer
Hi Snowys team! Just wondering what is the valve type on the insulated static v mat?
James - Murray Bridge, SA(1 year ago)
G'day James,
Klymit uses their own style of flat valve, with a flippable insert to set in inflate or deflate modes. Hope that helps.

R value?1 answer
What is the R value of this mat? Description says 1.9, but the image of the bag say 4.4 and when I searched the product number, it also says 4.4.
Mike - AUS(2 years ago)
G'day Mike,
Klymit used to do their own inhouse R-Value testing, which is what the 4.4 relates to. They have since opted to have the R-Value independently tested to the ASTM Global Standard which other brands such as Sea to Summit, Thermarest and EXPED do, this is what the 1.9 relates to. If you are wanting to compare the real life performance of this mat to other options, you do this via the ASTM R-Value. Klymits website also has this information available.
