I always take this and a few zip lok bags, generally I find a packet can last 3 - 4 meals as a simple 'extra' to bulk up a main meal. when I devide it up to cook with a main meal I usually don't add the full amount of extra water it says
This was great, we tried it added to stock for a super quick soup, or stews and just as extra veg.
